This is a copy of the
Declaration of Intention to become a United States citizen filed
by Gershon Katz.
On the previously filed Petition to become a citizen, filed
on September 1, 1910, the witnesses for Gershon (Harry) were
his brother Sam, at that time a carpenter and his brother, Herman,
a laborman.
He was admitted as a citizen on May 2, 1916
This Declaration gives the birthdate of Gershon, his place of
birth, his present address and the name of the vessel he entered
the United States on along with the date of entry.
